The Country Shaped Like a Woman

"A  map unfolding, celestial blue becomes oceanic, the spirit of cartographers, a country shaped like a woman.

New flags, new horizons. father and motherlands cease to have always existed.

Wars, divine right boundaries, territories are resorbed into the flow of history.

Renewal will reveal clarity, it will unveil a country shaped like a woman."

The names on the map are of people and places around me , they are a representation of my personal cosmology, or cosmogony.

The panoramic lanscape shows the harbor of Sebastopol circa1918, empty of its warships.
